Explanation of Laws and Regulations
Legislation and Regulations in Our Treatment Agreement
At rTMS International, we attach great importance to transparency and the quality of care. Your interests as a client are central to us. Our treatment agreement has been drawn up in accordance with key legislation and regulations in healthcare. Below you will find an overview of the most important laws and guidelines referenced in our agreement.
WGBO (Medical Treatment Agreement Act)
This law forms the foundation of our agreement and guarantees your right to complete information about your treatment. This enables you to make informed decisions, and your medical data is legally protected.
Wkkgz (Healthcare Quality, Complaints, and Disputes Act)
In our agreement, we refer to this law when describing our complaints procedure. It ensures you have access to a clear complaints process, so your voice is heard if you are dissatisfied.
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
We take your privacy seriously. Our agreement references our privacy policy, which has been drafted in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR. This law gives you control over your personal data and imposes strict requirements on how we handle it.
KNMG Guidelines (Royal Dutch Medical Association)
As healthcare providers, we adhere to the guidelines of the KNMG, ensuring care that meets the highest professional standards. We specifically refer to two guidelines:
- The guideline on “Handling Medical Records,” which ensures careful and confidential treatment of your medical information.
- The guideline on ending treatment relationships, which protects you against improper termination of care.
These laws and guidelines are in place to guarantee the quality of our care, protect your rights as a client, and establish clear rules for our services. They ensure that, as a client of rTMS International, you can rely on high-quality, safe care with respect for your privacy.
